Welcome to my website. I am Interim Department Chair and Professor of Political Science in the Department of Government and Justice Studies at Appalachian State University. I specialize in American government and politics. My publications include research on elections and election laws, state legislatures and Congress, and criminal justice policy. My interests also include quantitative methods, especially with respect to applications for clustered and longitudinal data.
